I was invited to be representing Sweden in the jury at CPH Vision fashion fair which provides an intimate and exclusive platform for both established and up-and-coming fashion designers. CPH Vision is situated in the beautiful and historical Øksnehallen and has been extended this year with a second arena called Terminal 2.
Designers’ Nest is as an integral part of CPH Vision with the aim of giving Danish and Nordic design students and newly educated designers the possibility of showing their talents in this professional and international fashion and design forum. CPH Vision has thus made a building at the CPH Vision Fashion Fair available to seven selected Nordic design schools, Danmarks Designskole, Copenhagen – Designskolen, Kolding – TEKO, Herning – Beckmans Designskole, Stockholm, – Swedish School of Textiles, Borås, University of Art and Design, Helsinki, and Iceland Academy of the Arts, Iceland, where 5 selected graduating students from each school have the opportunity to exhibit and present their exam project.
HRH Crown Princess Mary (of Denmark) is patron of Designers’ Nest and visits Designers’ Nest during the fashion fair in addition to seeing the Designers’ Nest Show.
We have chosen one winner and two runner-ups. Tomorrow afternoon you will know who they are…
