The Designboost Boost show opened little more a week ago with an inaugural speech by Ewa Kumlin, the general manager of Svensk Form. The Boost show is built on an imaginary “sustainable wheel” with seven “spokes”. They are: environmental influence, innovation, emotional connection, aesthetics, quality, authenticity and compatibility. Our idea is that you have to have a holistic perspective when trying to define sustainable design. You will then avoid sustaining the unsustainable so to speak. The Boost show runs until November 17th in a former cinema at Fridhemstorget in Malmö. Please find a few pictures from the opening of the Boost show below with some of the attending “boosters”.
