A suggestion for your Make A Difference section. “Energyrace.com. Make a difference. Measure it here.” It’s a site that shows people how to reduce their CO2 emissions to fight global warming but also measures their progress.

I thought you might be interested to know about yours2share and how we can provide people with a route to the property, boat, or other asset that they desire through fractional ownership or fractional rental.
yours2share is a free independent internet service that enables people to find like-minded people with whom to share any high value asset including property and boats anywhere in the world.
I arrived at the idea for the website because I was fed up with the waste of resources that our weekend cottage represented, as we only used it twice a month. I wanted to find someone who would use it every other weekend when we weren’t there.
Anyway the idea kind of snowballed from there as I realized that there was also another route to sharing: fractional ownership. There are commercial developments available, but I think it should be easier for private individuals to find partners and put the arrangement together themselves. With a little thought, it isn’t difficult.

http://extravigator.com is a new community for haute travelers to share ideas and opinions with each other on upcoming trips. Worth a look.
I also like http://hitotoki.org for different perspectives on Tokyo, NYC and London.

I think our website, The Greener Grass, and the David Report should be friends
The Greener Grass is a pro-bono project by the design firm Kaleidoscope. We’re using our resources to connect with interesting people and groups and focusing on learning about 7 major trends.
We just spent a couple months studying health and wellness. Based on our findings, we created design concepts to give back to the community. We see it as our responsibility as good corporate citizens.
Check out - http://thegreenergrass.org - please visit us!

Your site is FAB! Welldone - really interesting! I want to mention a new concept store in central London, opened in November - called Lifestylebazaar. A mix of design from young designers, small productions, promoting and developing the best (we hope) in European design - furniture, objects, lightings, gadgets, accessories.
You can have a virtual tour of the store real soon, but in the meantime check out our website - http://www.lifestylebazaar.com tell us what you think, we’re excited about it and would love to hear from aspiring and developing designers from around the globe.

I stumbled up on this blog the other day, seems to be a student doing his masters about renewable materials. I thought the vase looked particularly interesting, it seems to be made out of wheat gluten as I understand. I thought this might be something for David report, or…

Please check out http://www.ethicaldesignlab.com. It is perfectly in-tune with your latest report.
Ethical Design Lab intends to promote awareness of, and demand for, ethical design. We beleive that throughout the world there is a growing demand for ethically designed products from people who are more aware than ever of the impact they can have as consumers. Ethical Consumerism is a mega trend not a passing fad. All the research proves this beyond any doubt.
Our Mantra is that retailers and designers have a huge responsibility to respond to the demand of consumers. And, they have a great opportunity to make a massive positive impact on the world on so many levels. As a business opportunity adopting an ethical strategy increasingly makes business sense. Research also proves this to be the case. And, in a world dominated by powerful brands an ethical approach offers a great way to differentiate a brand.
This site is for designers, retailers, consumers and anyone interested in ethical design. It will showcase products, highlight trends and publish news.
For regular updates you can subscribe to the newsletter

I have been a recent visitor. And immensely like what I get here - lot of food for thought!
About jal neti I just want to point out that it would be wrong to say-“ Jala neti has been a well kept secret to western culture but is now booming.”
At face value yoga and related kriyas were always little inaccessible to everyone including Indians. The reason was and is that if done without a guru or not done properly it does harm.

Hello there…
I think you should add an eco category to your trending. Check out http://www.futurnatural.com. I came across it a year ago and I’m obsessed with it. It’s this amazing and unique online, “Sephora-like” site where you have access to and can buy all natural and organic beauty products.
It’s something we’ll be seeing more of in the future….

Hi David,
A true Danish design icon has re-emerged. You might have seen it before, it is the minimalistic Krenit bowl designed in 1953. Thought you should be one of the first to know

London – Milan 2010: the Dual Summer sessions in design
“Spanning the two great design capitals of the world”
London and Milan are synonymous with great art and design. When people talk of cities that have generated the most famous creative people and most innovative work you can be sure that London and Milan appear at the top of the list. Both cities have some of the best fashion, art and retail experiences, exceptional interiors and architecture, graphic and product design studios, and headquarters of some of the top design companies.
Between 5th and 30th July 2010 you can make the most of both cities by enrolling in a unique two or four week course in either fashion, graphics, interiors or product design. If you are a beginner and wish to build a portfolio and sample a real design school atmosphere or an experienced student or designer who wishes to build upon existing skills there will be a course in our 2010 programme for you. Rather than a direct follow-on, the courses in each city have been designed to compliment each other so that by the end of your studies you will have a portfolio of new work that represents two different approaches to teaching, along with new friends and a new international perspective of your creative subject.
Central Saint Martins, NABA and Domus Academy have outstanding reputations for high-quality teaching and will use the expertise of full time staff and visiting lecturers to help you progress in your chosen field. Whilst you attend your courses you will also have free time to explore these cities and enjoy the galleries, museums, bars and theatres during the evenings and weekends.
