With the release of his 13th compilation, ..Calming Park 5.., Zurich-based music designer and journalist Olivier Rohrbach marks his most acoustic production to-date. His previous works include boarding music and a CD for SWISS Airlines, sound design for Bally, a Christmas album, a range of CDs for the Swedish brand David design and the re-vamp of 1865..s founded Reuge music-boxes and watches makers for whom he created the project ..Reuge Remixed.. with contributors such as Sébastien Tellier, Ralph Myerz, Mark Rae, Fenomenon and Pit Baumgartner. ..Calming Park 5.. enfolds the auditor through a strong songwriters.. sensitivity and a compilation rich in guitars, dazzling us with musical pearls signed Thomas Dybdahl, Cibelle, Juliet, Ryan Adams, Sia and Mozez .. the famous singers from Zero 7 .. and finishing on more electro-zen notes with Ilya, Carmen Rizzo, Bliss and Marc Sedgley. This new musical cocoon, for which fifteen titles were patiently selected and entwined with one another, includes an intermezzo in Norway, where Olivier Rohrbach co-produced his first own track. Developed with the complicity of Fenomenon during an intensive weekend in the duo..s studio in Stavanger, the opening track of Calming Park 5, ..Calming Park.., celebrates true, acoustic sonorities.
