Spotify goes live today
Spotify is an online music service offering users the ability to stream music on demand using Spotify’s unique technology. Spotifly plans to roll out invites to their free service gradually over the coming months, while premium access to Spotify has now been made fully available (the premium subscription service is without advertising). Recently Spotify has signed groundbreaking licensing deals with companies including Universal Music Group, Sony BMG, EMI Music, Warner Music Group, Merlin, The Orchard and Bonnier Amigo.
Fortunately I have been one of the selected persons that have been able to try Spotify for a year or so. I really recommend it! The interface is recognizable (kind of iTunes look) and the selection of songs are picking up quite fast with the new licensing deals.
Now I just would like to be able to connect Spotify to my LastFM account and also play Spotify through my AirTunes system at home. Then my music life will never be the same…
UPDATE FROM RASMUS: You can actually both scrobble to last.fm and play music over AirTunes. Grab this for the sound over air and this for the scrobbling.

“Next on my to-do-list is to create a Last.fm-scrobbler. It actually is possible with the current plugin API. But to create a well-behaving scrobbler, it needs some extension (track length among other things)”.
