Why do I owe you?
IOU is a producer selling garden furniture by well-known Swedish designers. The production is in cooperation with C.R.I.S (criminals return into society) where former criminals and drug-users will get a second chance to get back to normal society life through work and education. The complete profit from goes to charity. The new collection is designed by Gabriella Gustafson and Mattias Ståhlbom from TAF Arkitektkontor in Stockholm. It contains tables, chairs and benches in larch wood. One interesting detail is the different widths of chosen planks which avoids unnecessary wastage of material. The IOU garden furniture were also part of the Designboost exhibition which took place in Malmö during Oktober–November this year. The collection will be for sale from 2008.

This type of furniture can provoke cancer, or so I’ve read in a magazine. It seems old, heavy wood is still the safest way to go. A store called narconon had similar products and got sewed by a costumer.

What rubish about the cancer! Is that the new famous ass-cancer?
Nowadays you get cancer form Popcorn, Fried food, Orange Juice and especially by breathing air. Please stop breathing and I can guarantee that you will not die from cancer.
And by the way, this is Sweden, not freaking USA, where you can sue for anything.

i’m just a woman mother grandmother who’s learning to get old.
Hard stuff cause nobody teaches us, it’s all up to us and it is really complicated.
As for this furniture, I find it very nice but
1) I dont and will never be able to have a garden
2) as from some three years ago, I just could not be able to sit in so right a chair nor in so hard ones.
Maybe nobody cares and I will be have to go around looking on my own,
but mind you who are still young, if you reach to be my age, you will remember me saying I’m a poor woman learning to get old.
God bless, rose
