Paper art by Richard Sweeney
The paper art by Richard Sweeney is fantastic. Influenced by structural forms created by both man and nature Richard Sweeney is creating never before seen geometric paper sculptures. Richard is saying that the objects produced are simply one stage in an ongoing process of exploration. He uses paper modelling as a means to generate form and is placing the emphasis on the creation of form through hands on material exploration, something paper lends itself to perfectly. Anyone else that are thinking of origami as well?
Here you can see more interesting paper art by Richard Sweeney. You can also follow his creative process when making his paper art through this Flickr photo set.
For those of you who have not seen the paper art by Jen Stark (that in some sense reminds me of the work by Richard Sweeney) can check my earlier posts here and here.

we are making a paper sculpture of around the size of 4 feet and we are clueless as to use what kind of paper as we have tied many but none sustain the number of folds that they undergo!!!
