    Hello there,

    Who designed that beautiful couch?

    Thanks a lot!

Carla, the couch is from the Porro exhibition. Honestly I’m not sure but it’s probably Paola Navone that is the designer (cannot find any press material concerning it). I liked it too. Nice patterns which give the cubic shape life.

Hi David, Really liked the pics. I was there Sunday and Monday and got to see only half of the fair and none of milan, I was so over whelmed by the scale of the fair. I can see from your pics i missed out on alot and only promise myself I will be around for longer nxt year and venture outside the security of the fair. Could you by any chance give me names of some product designers of tableware and cutlery, i looked so hard for a designer called karakola but no-one seemed to know? Kind regards!

Gabby - It is the Loft cube by Werner Aisslinger (http://www.loftcube.net/)

Aislinn - as you are saying the Milan design week is huge, when I started to exhibit in the early nineties it was much smaller and apparently easier to see all the interesting shows. Finnish brand Iittala has some nice cutlery.

Linda - The kitchen is from Boffi.

    Hi,

The sofa is designed by Piero Lissoni and made by Living Divani, that’s a special upholstery made by Living for Porro on Lissoni’s request.
