Design duo Van Eijk & Van der Lubbe will, in collaboration with Volvo, present their brand-new Experience in Motion collection during Dutch Design Week. Technological advances and social developments are set to radically change driving in the foreseeable future. The designers have investigated the characteristics of the Volvo brand and created a mobile experience befitting the future of automotive transport.

This collection shows our vision of the rich, interactive way travel time will be spent once steering becomes superfluous, Van Eijk & Van der Lubbe continue. In Experience in Motion, we present a “living space” within the XC60’s contours, featuring a special textile that makes references to Volvo and products that emphasise the social aspect of the car of the future and prioritise human encounters.
