Japanese company Kamawanu is specialised in the making of tenugui, a hand-dyed rectangular cloth traditionally used in Japan as functional everyday housewares. Now Kamawanu is launching a graphic collection of vividly coloured scarves to the international market designed by Copenhagen-based OeO Design Studio.

Scarf designed by OeO

Made from 100% cotton and produced in Japan, each scarf is rendered with a unique graphic characteristic since the dye produces different shades of colour depending on the weather, temperature and humidity of the day, says Thomas Lykke from Oeo.
