A girl with an egg from the exhibition Decadent Pigeons

Lisa Klappe and Joachim van der Hurk have been invited back to Barcelona to present a second edition of Decadent Pigeons. The exhibition will take place from 12 January till 2 February 2012 at Galeria La Casa Elizalde, Barcelona, Spain. They will set up an extended mix of static portraits, grubby films and living sculptures.

Despite growing individualism, we seem increasingly more alike. Holding a mirror to human nature, Lisa Klappe and Joachim van der Hurk ask wether the quest for prosperity and freedom is making us like grey, bored and scandalous birds.
