Cowbird is a simple tool for telling stories, and a public library of human experience

At the online community Cowbird humanity’s sagas are explained through heartfelt stories. Sagas are things like the Japanese earthquake, the war in Iraq, and the Occupy Wall Street movement — things that touch millions of lives and define the human story.
The short-term goals for Cowbird is to pioneer a new form of participatory journalism while the long-term goal is to build a public library of human experience available for this and future generations to look to for guidance. With Cowbird you can witness simple human moments behind major news events. The community of excellent storytellers; writers, photographers, journalists, filmmakers etc is still very small with a wish to grow slowly.
