Last autumn David Report was invited to visit Chile and speak at the Bienal de Diseno. At the program was a one day visit to the unique World Heritage Site Valparaiso. Always a magnet for European immigrants, Valparaíso mushroomed during its golden age, when the city was known by international sailors as “Little San Francisco” and “The Jewel of the Pacific.” Valparaíso remains a vibrant center of Chilean culture. Below are a couple of snapshots from our visit. Another day we will put up some more images from Valparaiso showing the magnificent street art.
And while strolling along the streets with Jaime, Andres and Jurgen the Mayor of Valparaiso passed by!

Hi David, great photos! I actually have very similar ones that I made during my trip to Valparaiso in 2008. Great place, great country!
