The Sandbox collection by Martin Bergström revolves around the theme of dreams, visions and fantasies that have gotten stuck in the sand of sandboxes worldwide, in which children have played in and still play in today. These fantasies have no boundries during childhood, but as we grow up, the habit of dreaming big decreases and instead we end up brooding over our negative emotions.

I believe the world would be far more lively and merry if our childhood dreams did not sink into the sand.
