The Swedish magazine Amelia is just running a marketing campaign where they would like to see more female statues in Sweden. Today only one out of ten statues shows a woman with name and clothes on! They call it the Statue Appeal. At the dedicated web page you can choose from twenty different historic female candidates (web page only in Swedish). Who is your candidate? My vote goes for the great jazz singer Monica Zetterlund.
