Designers that want to be artists

As I wrote about the current design-art trend in my latest David Report bulletin called Vulgarism, a lot of designers suddenly want to be artists. Are they manipulated by the market or is it the other way round? It’s a growing phenomena and I will do a small series called “Designers that want to be artists” here in the blog.
